Area Wide Prospectus
Young people can search the site by subject, provider or keyword. They can then save favourites into the "My Courses" area, by supplying a username and password of their choice.
The DCSF "Next Steps" document anticipates the AWP being a much more powerful tool, with information about success rates, progression and local labour markets being included.
Providers will need to upload their data to this site (at least as frequently as they publish their own brochures and prospectuses).
The website is currently showing courses that are available from September 2009.
The process for uploading and amending data is described in the manual, which can be downloaded from here:
